One of the rites of spring seems to be the new Celtic Woman tour! Now that I was thoroughly hooked I couldn’t enough and planned my own mini-tour to see as many shows as finances and work schedule would permit.
The closest show was Baltimore and once again I treated my friends to a show. The seats were much better than Reading but still not as good as I would have liked. For my friends it was a wonderful evening, for me it was the start of a 15 day, 8 city, 12 concert extravaganza. I would be within 5 rows of the stage at every show but three. I was so excited I could hardly stand it.
There were several firsts, as well. My first time at a casino (Mohegan Sun) and my first time at Radio City Music Hall. I did some sightseeing between shows and visited many places in New England that were new to me. I had a fabulous time and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Oh wait, I did do it again in 2009!
You’ll notice that I didn’t necessarily do a full review of every show. Since I was still relatively new at this I would sometimes just reply to someone else’s more comprehensive review, usually Mel’s. I really started doing my own more thorough reviews on the next tour.
